Old-School Scandinavian Dill Soup

I created this blog in an effort to create a cooking blog that explains not just how to cook, but why we cook the way we do, why certin cultures uses certian specific spices and how science effects cooking and food.
My first batch of stock was successful. I made a beef stock and in turn made beef barley soup. Everythig turned out great. The only thing that I would do different is try the cheese cloth method of straining the stock. My soup had just a tad too much oil/greese. Other than that, my family loved it.
ReplyDeleteWas that your first time making broth? Broth freezes well, also. You can actually make it and keep it for future dishes to cut down on time. Happy that your family liked it!
